ONLY ONE PLACE LEFT:
Run by resident potter, Pete Montgomery, this weekend workshop will teach you all you need to know about throwing with the sometimes tricky porcelain. TWO days of intensive throwing on the wheel, with Pete giving demonstrations and assistance should leave you feeling competent to continue on in this medium. Suitable only for those that can throw a cylinder and bowl in ordinary stoneware or terracotta – not for beginners.
It is not intended that anyone keeps what they make: this is purely a training workshop with lots of porcelain available for you to perfect your skills, and everything will be recycled at the end of the workshop, after Pete has talked the class through the good and bad bits.
Next workshop: Saturday and Sunday 11th and 12th April, 9.30 to 5pm
Cost: £200.00 to include refreshments, but bring your own lunch please.
