TEA POT POTTERY WORKSHOP

Charlie Collier will be running a weekend workshop, possibly in September, teaching the art and skill of making and assembling a tea pot.  You will learn to make the body, lid, spout and handle, and should end up with a tea pot that we can glaze and fire for you.

Cost: £230 to include one glazed and fired tea pot

Jewellery Workshops – 2021

Claire will enjoy teaching you the jewellery techniques needed to create two pairs of bespoke earrings, using a collection of vintage accessories.  A selection of beads, charms and jewellery findings are included in the cost, along with the use of any tools needed.  Additional components will be available to purchase from her private collection to complete your design inspiration if you prefer.

Please feel free to bring along your own small treasures to incorporate into your designs.

The cost of each 3 hour workshop is £35.

Workshops will be held on Saturday mornings from 10am to 1pm.

Tea, coffee and juice will be provided along with non-scary biscuits.

Kids Club (8+) pottery classes

Fortnightly on a Sunday 11am – 12.30pm  –  Starting in September.

£15 per session, total £90 to be paid in advance.

Fun pottery session for kids ages 8 upward, led by Rebecca Proctor.

Rebecca has an enhanced DBS certificate and will carry out a Covid 19 Risk Assessment.

Classes are limited to 10 children.

Pottery Throwing classes with Rebecca Proctor – new classes start September 2021

Rebecca will be running a new series of throwing workshops for beginners and intermediates, starting on the 14th September 2021

Classes will be held on a Tuesday afternoon and will run for six weeks

Time: 2pm to 4.30pm

Cost:  £150 for the six week course, to include six glazed and fired pots.

Until everyone is vaccinated and it is safe to do so, we will continue to observe stringent Covid procedure, so masks will need to be worn during classes.  Classes are therefore limited in size, so to reserve your place, contact  kigbeare@gmail.com headed Rebecca Throwing, and we will get back to you with confirmation.  Please indicate whether you prefer morning or afternoon.

Hand building Pottery with Rebecca Proctor – new classes start September 2021

STARTS TUESDAY    September 14th 2021  – 10.30 to 1 pm

The  course will run for six weeks, and costs £150.

During the course, we will explore different ways of making tableware, away from the potters wheel.  This will cover pinch pots, coiling, slab building, tiles and press moulds, or if you have a special item you want to make, you can use the clay, glazes, kiln and space to do so.
