Watercolour – exhilarating, fluid, expressive, luminous, vibrant and spontaneous….. or is it exasperating, frustrating, tentative, overworked and discouraging?
Make the right start and thoroughly enjoy your watercolour experience! Join Karen Thomas for a workshop exploring the possibilities of watercolour as a painting medium. Fun, patient tuition from an award-winning artist and author. Small groups, (up to 10) suitable for beginners, with plenty of one-to-one attention, these day-long workshops will give you the right foundations to move forward with confidence.
£50 for the day, these foundation workshops will enable you to progress through to my ongoing ‘Watercolour Warriors’ learning groups, kick-start your personal practice, or prepare you for one of my painting holidays.
Materials will be provided, but you are very welcome to bring your own if you already have them. I can offer advice on a good starting set of materials if you are about to purchase your own. Coffee/tea provided, but bring a packed lunch. Arrival from 10am, your workshop will start at 10.30 and finish at 16.00. Three dates to choose from…
